
Baptismal Preparation classes offer Christian instruction about the Sacrament of Baptism and its meaning for parents, godparents, and the church community. Parents and godparents attend a 2-hour session on the last Tuesday of the month
First Eucharist and First Reconciliation
Sutdents in the second grade and above may be eligible for the reception of the Sacraments of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation. There are six sessions on Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. for each sacrament. Preparation for First Reconciliation is in the Fall and First Eucharist in the Spring.
Students in the eighth grade and above may be eligible for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. There are 10 sessions on Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., and an overnight retreat in the Spring.
Marriage Prep classes are conducted in parishes throughout the Archdiocese to help prepare engaged couples for marriage. St. Mary's provides two four-week sessions held on consecutive Sunday evenings in February/March and again in July/August. General topics of concentration include communication, finances, decision making, sexuality, and spirituality.
